In having a wedding showround and Paula is so lovely. She instantly made us comfortable and provided us with so much info. Wedding is booked!!
A really nice hotel set in spacious grounds. A few minutes walk from the town centre of Cookstown it is ideal for a stop over. There is a restaurant serving really good food and at a reasonable price.There is regular live music music every weekend and social dancing in a Sunday night.I did not stay over but did speak to a few guests who were and there comments on the rooms were all very positive.
Attended a conference here today. Lovely hotel, well laid out. Beautiful grounds. Definitely want to come back and stay :)
Great hotel for a wedding! Could not fault food or staff. Food for main meal was plated and hot ! Efficiently served and cleared away! The chip and sausage or chicken bites later were served in a paper cone - lovely ! Toilets were spotless however (and this is my only complaint) hand wash wasn't working
With my husband and son, we went around in Northern Ireland for the summer vacation and the last 3 nights we were at Glenavon hotel. It was such a treat to be there. Perfect location, (Cookstown was such a special place.. ) The staff were so attentive, the rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. Normally I don't like being in a hotel; it somehow disconnects me from where I am; but surprisingly this was not the case with Glenavon hotel. We enjoyed as much inside as outside the place. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic. It's great for children, the swimming pool and recreational facilities. If we didn't have a flight back, we would have stayed longer. So thank you very much to everyone for the great hospitality.
